This riserva is made from carefully selected grapes sourced from the estate's best vines, an example of how a traditional Vino Nobile should be made.
The wine has a full-bodied structure and powerful smooth tannins. Although we can already speak of an aged wine, we still have fresh fruity notes of black cherry and plum. In addition to this we find floral notes of rose and some herbaceous hints of sage leaves. The extended aging in oak creates nice tertiary flavors of dried flowers, leather and tobacco.
30 months on Slavonian oak barrels, followed by an addational 6 months in bottle
